Wearing the vest greatly reduces the impact of carrying such a lot of weight around the waist – all the weight is distributed over the shoulders and evenly around the body and there is no drag on the hips as is usually the problem with a waist belt.

Battery and Self-Rescue pockets are both replaceable; you can order replacement pockets or send the vest back to have them fitted in our workshop.  This feature will extend the life of your vest considerably.  Battery Pocket will fit both PED and ICCL battery systems and the standard SR pocket will fit SCSR systems such as CSE, FENZY etc.

A smaller SR pouch to accommodate the Filter Self Rescue Device (optional) is also available.  . Vest can be ordered with this pocket if required.

ADJUSTMENT -Vests are adjustable to fit all sizes & heights –10 adjustment points are available and are situated at front of shoulders and on the front and back of the vest.  We recommend adjusting the vest at all points as necessary before adding equipment.

NEW FEATURES -Our HiViz vest now also features the following improvements & options

1.      A “Deuter” Hydration pack (optional) enables the user to have a supply of fresh water on hand this unit is heavy duty and easy to clean.

2.      The vest now includes an additional SR holder which allows the user to wear the SR at the front while traveling or working in confined spaces

3.      A pair of straps to use with the additional SR holder or to allow the user to attach a Remote Control Box to the front of the vest (see diagram on front)

4.      Larger D Links have been incorporated into the shoulder front for use with the RC straps.  These can also be utilized for Locks etc..  The vest has also been strengthened and reinforced in many areas.

5.      Our Gas Measuring Device pocket has been designed to fit the Drager X-am7000 monitor.

6.     Extra durability and additional safety in the FR High Visibility materials used in this vest, combined with the generous use of reflective tape, gives the wearer a greater visibility both above and underground.

7.       The HiViz vest also features a holder on the back to secure your battery cable and a pen/tool holder on the front which can be used for pens or a variety of small tools.
